About The Hebrew Gyrl
A native of Washington, DC, Patrice Edwards known as The Hebrew Gyrl is a Hebrew Roots/Gospel artist known for rapping and singing. Her beginning stages of music started as a little girl actively singing at The Way of The Cross church in Washington, DC under the direction of Sherry Harris, Bennett Gamble and Lisa Henderson. Using her gift in middle school and attending the illustrious Eastern Senior High singing under direction of Gospel sensation Patrick Lundy and master pianist and director Dr Joyce Garrett opened doors for Patrice to sing on multiple honors choirs and allowing her the opportunity to sing background for artist such as: Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Patty Austin, James Ingram, 98 decrees and can be seen on the remake video by of "I believe I can fly" with Yolanda Adams and the world renowned Eastern Senior High School choir. Now a Charlotte, NC resident THG has linked up with producer extradinaire James Clark and signed to Archafella Records and is ready to inject the world with the word of God through creative rap songs.
